AcroRd32.exe is the name of the process of the program Acrobat Reader. Acrobat Reader opens PDF documents so that you can read them. However, when you close the PDF window, the AcroRd32.exe process will remain open until you restart the computer.
This can lead to the use of computer memory and slow down the computer. You can fix the AcroRd32.exe error yourself.
Click on the “Start”, “All Programs”, “Adobe”, then “Adobe Reader” to open the program.
Go to the “Edit” tab at the top of the screen and the cursor down to “Settings” and click on it.
View the “Internet” link on the left side of the screen and click on it to open the Web browser settings for Adobe Reader.
Click the “Display PDF in browser” checkbox to disable the option. This will prevent Adobe Reader from opening PDF documents through the browser.
Press Ctrl + Alt + Delet This will open the Windows Task Manager. After the Task Manager opens, click the “Processes” tab at the top of the Task Manager. Find the process “AcroRd32.exe” and click on it to select it. Click the “End Process” button to stop the process. This should free up the computer’s memory and reduce the consumption of Adobe Reader’s support by opening a PDF document through the browser.16 January 2016
